(R.SQUARE)Resources and economic functions

Resources are needed to meet the daily needs of the people and it is an important component of the economy. Depending on the use of resources, people in different parts of the world will be able to know geographically what kind of economic activities they are involved in. And this will show what kind of economic activities people in different countries of the world are involved in. And depending on which regulators the industry develops and why there is an imbalance in the import-export of different products, we can find out.

The concept of wealth

Resources that can be used in certain technological, economic and social situations. Knowing the use and extraction of petroleum (mineral oil) has made it an important resource of a state. Land value is more or less due to location. Unnecessary objects are needed after knowing the usage. In this way, objects in the corner become valuable assets. In a word, the functionality of an object is an asset.

Asset classification

Resources can be initially divided into three categories- (1) natural resources, (2) human resources and (3) economic resources

Natural resources can again be divided into three parts. According to scientists, non-renewable resources are created very slowly and their supply is limited. There are many resources that are not affected in any way by the passage of time, such as coal reserves or ore, while many resources are destroyed over time, for example, natural gas reserves are reduced by leaking. Renewable assets are national assets that are essentially reorganized, but are particularly variable over time. The best example of this is hydropower. The population is turned into human resources through proper education and training.

 Conservation of resources

Wealth conservation means the use of natural resources in such a way that they help to ensure maximum long-term well-being of as many people as possible. Another name for the concept of conservation is lifestyle. Preservation is another name for education, human scholarship, righteousness, justice, truth-seeking, dutifulness or love of nature. According to economists, resources are not infinite, they are finite. So good management of resource utilization is very important. It is possible to increase renewable resources through good management. Environmental management is the best management. Non-renewable resources can be fully, for example, oil spills. But using renewable solar energy to generate solar power and hydropower to harness water does not harm the environment. In addition, various used items can be recycled and reused as resources, which reduces the waste of resources. Garbage trucks are running to produce oil from garbage.

The Earth is a closed system without solar and cosmic radiation, so it is possible to increase the utility of resources by selecting resources, that is, realizing the importance of one over the other. Although the yield initially increases with the application of inorganic fertilizers, the application of more fertilizers later causes damage to the land. In such cases, it is possible to increase the amount of organic manure. A variety of soil conservation methods can be used to protect agricultural soils, Such as- Sapan cultivation, crop rotation. Besides, soil can be conserved through afforestation in non-agricultural areas. Therefore, everyone should be aware of the protection of land, water, various minerals and natural environment of Bangladesh and if the waste of these is prevented, the sustainability of our resources will increase. In this case (3R: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) it is important to use these three methods to save resources, reduce the use of resources, reuse resources and recycle resources.

Economic activities

Economic functions are expressions of human behavior that relate to the production, exchange, and use of goods and services. Economic activities are divided into three stages: first stage, second stage and third stage.

First stage economic activities:

In the first stage activities people work directly with nature. In agriculture, people sow seeds, nature germinates these seeds and turns them into grains. This contribution of nature is accepted by man as a reward. Livestock hunting, fishing, lumbering, animal husbandry, mineral extraction and agriculture are the first economic activities. Most of the people in Bangladesh are involved in the first stage of economic activities.

Agriculture are the first economic activities

Second stage economic functions:

In the second stage functions man forms, resizes and increases the usefulness of the material produced by his first stage functions. Mineral iron ore is extracted from which it is converted into iron ore, nails, tin, steel and other necessities. From cooking to the preparation of highly complex machinery, all kinds of work are the second stage of economic activities.

Natural resource

Third stage economic activities:

In the third stage activities, people increase the utility of the goods produced from the first and second stage activities in other ways than production work and perform service work. When the surplus of the product of the country is sent to the deficit areas, the usefulness of that commodity increases a lot This can be done through trade, commerce, transportation, etc. The functions of the masses include wholesalers, retailers, peddlers, distributors, agents, bankers, teachers, doctors, nurses, lawyers, scavengers, barbers, rickshaw pullers and wheelbarrow dealers.

Third stage activities, people increase the utility of the goods
